I grew up loving cartoons and clay and naturally wanted to make a career out of these things. I studied traditional animation at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where I was introduced to New York's amazing animation community. I left it once to work for Bent Image Lab, a stop-motion animation studio in Oregon. I loved the puppets and the people there, but New York's animation scene drew me back. Since then I have been employed in the animation industry with a focus on stop-motion and cut-out animation and design. I also teach animation and puppet making to undergrads and high school students.

In addition to my commercial projects, I usually have a few of my own cooking. Currently I am very fond of making tiny robots and jewelry. I'm also involved with a comic book collective known as Fakeheads. We will be releasing our third anthology at the 2012 MoCCA Festival.

Outside of creating art and animation, I enjoy nature, falafel, and taking care of my exotic pets.
